    Lost Marbles

    by Eric Preisz · 10/24/2014 (6:25 pm) · 0 comments

No, I haven't lost mine....not yet at least.

I happened to come across a Reddit post where one of my former students from eight years ago talks about me sharing a Marble Blast optimization paper I wrote for NVIDIA and presented at GDC. I'm not sure if they learned anything from that paper, but they did start playing Marble Blast so at least something was accomplished. I found out that they published a Marble Blast Ultra inspired game on Steam last spring. For all those MBU lovers, check it out. I still get e-mails every week about Marble Blast and I continue to inform folks that we no longer own the rights. Perhaps I'll send them this link?
